CHRISTMAS IN JULY (or August)

 

CHRISTMAS STOCKING  We have a choice of patterns  that let you learn to knit a basic sock as well as learning some of the ins and outs of fair isle knitting.  We will be knitting the stocking on circular needles.  Because there are lots of different patterns to choose from we should have a nice variety of stockings to see at the end of the class.

August 2  and 30  1-4  OR

TATTING SNOWFLAKES  Decorate your tree or windows this winter with your very own snowflakes.  Sue will show how to make these delicate and pretty winter decorations.

July 29 2-4                                                                                                           $20

 

FELTED CHRISTMAS BALLS  This is a fun and easy project for adults and children alike. Spend the afternoon creating these decorations and go home with your own creation.

July 28  1-3                                                                                                        $20

 

FIXING MISTAKES AND MAKING REPAIRS  Sue will put her magic to work and show how she fixes problems like an unwanted hole or a dropped  stitch in her knitting.  And as though that isn't enough, she will also show us how to make repairs to completed knitted items, such as closing an unwanted hole or a run in the knitted fabric.
